He sits by the brass BuddhaIn an apartment in Washington D.C.What does he think?Are they linked by some past life?Every day the bond is renewedIs it my imaginationOr do I see the Buddha glowDo I see an aura surround the cat?What is this strange synergy?I take up my camera and clickI try and capture the intensityWhen I reach homeI pick up my brushes and paintSome strange electricityFilters through my fingersIts like I'm possessedI paint day and nightThe glow of the BuddhaThe aura of the catAnd when I'm doneA lady from Vancouver buys my painting“It captured my heart”,“I found it mysterious and alluring”,And now the cat is goneThe house is soldBut in my heart is the pictureWhich touched me and touchedA lady in Vancouver
